Why Dream Genie Exists
Started in Honor of Mary
Dream Genie began with a simple question: "If someone granted your dream right now, what would it be?" My mother Mary answered: "I'd just want a hug from someone I love." That answer changed everything. It reminded us that the dreams people need most are not always luxury. Sometimes they are comfort, connection, rest, and feeling seen again.
That spark became Grace Gives AF, where Grace and I began volunteering at hospitals, schools, nursing homes, and community spaces. Now Dream Genie exists to help grant real dreams through community support, storytelling, and collective action.

Grace is more than a therapy dog — she is proof that healing spreads. After surviving a life-threatening injury, Grace rediscovered joy through therapy work. Today she brings comfort and emotional support to people across our community. Dream Genie was born from that same spirit.
